17 RULING On January 29, 2024, Plaintiff Kevin Turner (“Plaintiff”) initiated this action against Defendant Trailer Bridge, Inc. (“Defendant”), in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Dkt. 1-1 at 6. The Complaint asserts three state-law claims for: (1) wrongful termination in violation of public policy; (2) violation of California Labor Code § 1102.5; and (3) violation of California Government Code § 12940(h), the Fair Employment and Housing Act (“FEHA”).
