On March 19, 2024, plaintiff Huiquan Tan (“Plaintiff”), appearing pro se, filed a Complaint against defendant David Radel, the director of the Los Angeles Asylum Office of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (“USCIS”) (“Defendant”). Plaintiff's Complaint asserts a claim for administrative mandamus and seeks to have Defendant promptly schedule an interview for her asylum application.
