I. Introduction

Before the Court is a motion for remand filed by Plaintiff Tamara Jackson (“Plaintiff”). For the following reasons, Plaintiff's motion is GRANTED.

II. Background

A. Procedural History Plaintiff filed a complaint in the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles, on Dec. 1, 2023. Notice of Removal, Ex. A (“Compl.”), ECF No. 1-1. Defendant Federal Express Corporation (“Defendant” or “FedEx’’) removed this action to federal court on January 8, 2024. Notice of Removal, ECF No. 1. Plaintiff filed a motion for remand on Jan. 31, 2024. ECF. No. 12. Defendant opposed the motion for remand on Feb. 16, 2024. ECF No. 15. Plaintiff replied to Defendant’s opposition on Feb. 26, 2024. ECF No. 16. The Court heard oral argument from the parties on March 11, 2024. ECF No. 19. B. Factual Allegations
