ELMANTE, Defendant. 17 Plaintiff Macey E. Turley, Jr. (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner is proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with this civil rights action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. §1983. Given the parties’ mutual consent (see Docs. 19, 20), the Court has determined that this case will benefit from a settlement conference. Therefore, this case will be referred to Magistrate Judge Erica P. Grosjean to conduct a settlement conference on October 17, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. The settlement conference will be conducted by remote means, with all parties appearing by Zoom video conference.
