ROBERT KORANDA, et al., Defendants. 16 I. INTRODUCTION Plaintiff is a state prisoner, proceeding without counsel, with a civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Pending before the Court are plaintiff’s motion to transfer and motion to amend (ECF Nos. 32, 33), and defendant Koranda’s motion for summary judgment (ECF No. 26). For the following reasons, plaintiff’s motion to transfer is denied, and this Court recommends that defendant Koranda’s summary judgment motion be granted and plaintiff’s motion to amend be denied. II. PLAINTIFF’S MOTION TO TRANSFER A. Background Plaintiff filed his original complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on July 21, 2022. (ECF No. 1.)
