LLOYD J. AUSTIN III, et al., Defendants. 17 Plaintiff is proceeding in this action pro se. This matter was referred to the undersigned by E.D. Cal. R. 302(c)(21). Plaintiff filed a request for leave to proceed in forma pauperis (“IFP”) pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1915 and has submitted the affidavit required by that statute. See 28 U.S.C. § 1915(a)(1). The motion to proceed IFP will therefore be granted. On August 13, 2024, a defendant specially appeared to notify the court that the complaint in this case needed to be sealed because it contains several unredacted social security numbers. ECF No. 3.
