16 17 I. STATUS Petitioner Joseph Son (“Petitioner” or “Son”), a state prisoner, is proceeding pro se on his Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus filed under 28 U. S.C. § 2254 on November 30, 2020. (Doc. No. 1, “Petition”). Petitioner, who was incarcerated and serving an indeterminate life sentence having been convicted of a prior felony,2 was charged by Information with Penal Code section 4500 for the alleged killing of fellow inmate, Michael Graham, at Wasco State Prison (Case No. BF150700A).
