16 This matter is before the court on the motions in limine filed on behalf of plaintiffs Estate of Tyler S. Rushing, et al. (Doc. No. 116) and defendants Chico Police Department, et al. (Doc. Nos. 117, 118, 119, 120.) The court now issues the following tentative rulings addressing those motions in limine, but the court will briefly hear any further argument in response to these tentative rulings on Monday, October 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 4, 15th floor. See City of Pomona v. SQM N. Am. Corp., 866 F.3d 1060, 1070 (9th Cir. 2017) (noting that “a ruling on a motion in limine . . . falls entirely within the discretion of the district court”).
