DISCUSSION

In his submission, Elias relies primarily on cases which involved denials of resentencing petitions at the prima facie phase of review of petitions filed under section 1172.6. Here the court issued an order to show cause and held an evidentiary hearing. Judicial review in such cases is different than prima facie review. Elias has not identified any presumably meritorious issues for our consideration. Our independent review of the record has not discovered any potentially meritorious issues for reversal on appeal. Competent counsel has represented Elias on this appeal.

DISPOSITION

The order denying Elias’s petition for resentencing under section 1172.6 is affirmed.
