On November 21, 2024, Randall Coleman (Petitioner), a California state prisoner proceeding pro se, constructively filed a habeas petition pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. (“Petition,” Dkt. No. 1).1 Petitioner is challenging his 2012 conviction after a jury found him guilty of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder, shooting at an inhabited dwelling, and possession of a firearm by a felon in Los Angeles County case number BA 347333, for which he was sentenced to an indeterminate term of 170 years to life.
