(Doc. 5) 16 17 David Nathaniel Roberts seeks to hold the defendants liable for violations of his civil 18 rights while incarcerated at Kern Valley State Prison and Corcoran State Prison. (See generally 19 Doc. 1.) Plaintiff did not pay the filing fee when he filed the complaint. Therefore, the Court 20 ordered Plaintiff to either pay the filing fee or apply to proceed in forma pauperis. (Doc. 3 at 1.) 21 Despite the Court’s warning that failure to comply with the order would result in dismissal (id.), 22 Plaintiff failed to pay the fee or file an application to proceed in forma pauperis.
