The Court inquired into the status of the settlement and inordinate delay in filing 20 dispositional documents. In particular, the Court pointed out that the parties engaged in a 21 settlement conference with the United States Magistrate Judge Jeremy D. Peterson on December 22 21, 2023, and had reached a global settlement in the instant case as well as Dennis v. Kernan, et 23 al., E.D. Cal. Case No. 2:16-cv00542. (Doc. No. 26). On November 1, 2024, the Court issued an 24 order directing the payment of Plaintiff’s attorney fees. (Doc. No. 43). R. Lawrence Bragg, 25 counsel for Defendants appeared. (Id.).
