18 Defendant removed this case to federal court on October 9, 2024. ECF No. 1. 19 Before the Court is Plaintiff’s motion to remand, which was filed on November 8, 2024. 20 ECF No. 7. Defendant filed an opposition, ECF No. 11, and Plaintiff replied, ECF No. 21 13. The primary issue for the Court to decide is whether the amount in controversy meets 22 the $75,000 threshold for diversity jurisdiction under 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a)(1). The Court 23 has reviewed the Complaint, the motion, and other papers on the record in this case, and 24 finds the matter suitable for decision on the papers.
