Ford removed the action to this court on the basis of diversity 20 jurisdiction. Garcia now moves to amend her complaint to add a negligence claim against Tracy Ford, a California corporation. Garcia also seeks remand because with the addition of Tracy Ford, the parties would no longer be completely diverse, and this court would lack jurisdiction to 23 hear this action.
