Ford removed the action to this court on the basis of diversity 20 | jurisdiction. Garcia now moves to amend her complaint to add a negligence claim against Tracy 21 | Ford, a California corporation. Garcia also seeks remand because with the addition of Tracy 22 | Ford, the parties would no longer be completely diverse, and this court would lack jurisdiction to 23 | hear this action.
