Defendants. 16 This Report and Recommendation is submitted to United States District Judge Jinsook Ohta pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b) and Civil Local Rules 72.1.e. and 72.3.e. Plaintiff Charles Daniels was an inmate at R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD) during the events that give rise to his Complaint. Doc. No. 1. On August 22, 2023, plaintiff filed a Complaint pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 claiming RJD staff violated his civil rights by failing to respond appropriately to his self-reported complaints of suicidal ideation.
