15 Defendant. 16 17 Pending before the Court is AXIS Insurance Company’s unopposed ex parte application to intervene in this action. The Court decides the matter on the papers submitted and without oral argument. See Civ.L.R. 7.1 (d.1). For the reasons stated below, the Court GRANTS the application [Doc. 42]. 22 I. OVERVIEW On November 28, 2023, Plaintiff Nick Walpert filed this lawsuit against Defendant Solar Integrated Roofing Corp. (“SIRC”) in the San Diego Superior Court. (See Compl.1) 26 27 28 The Complaint alleges causes of action for wrongful termination and violations of the California Labor Code. (Id.) On January 5, 2024, SIRC removed the case to this Court.
