18 Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, has filed this civil rights action seeking relief 19 under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. The matter was referred to a United States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 20 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. Plaintiff has paid the filing fee. 21 Plaintiff has filed a motion for the appointment of counsel. ECF No. 14 at 1-2. In it, 22 Plaintiff also informs the Court that his address has changed. Id. at 3. 23 For the reasons stated below, the motion for the appointment of counsel will be denied. In 24 addition, the Clerk of Court will be directed to update Plaintiff’s address on the case caption of 25 the docket.
