INTRODUCTION Plaintiffs Courtney Chavez (“Mrs. Chavez”) and Carter Chavez (“Mr. Chavez”) (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) bring this action against Defendant Ford Motor Credit Company, LLC (“Ford Credit”) alleging causes of action under the California Legal Remedies Act, the California Consumer Reporting Agencies Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. (Doc. 1-1.) On January 23 and 24, 2025, respectively, Plaintiffs and Ford Credit filed motions for summary judgment or partial summary judgment. (Docs. 27 & 28.)
