Background 19 Plaintiff Shawn Pierre Johnson (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in 20 forma pauperis in this civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. 21 On February 27, 2025, the Court screened the first amended complaint and found that it 22 failed to comply with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 8 and failed to state a cognizable claim for 23 relief. (ECF No. 12.) The Court issued a screening order granting Plaintiff leave to file a second 24 amended complaint or a notice of voluntary dismissal within thirty (30) days. (Id.)
