16 Plaintiff Uriel Garcia is proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis in this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. section 1983. This action proceeds against Defendants Powell, Hurtado, and Ugwueze for deliberate indifference to Plaintiff’s serious medical needs in violation of the Eighth Amendment. I. INTRODUCTION Defendants filed a motion for summary judgment on Plaintiff’s claims on November 18, 2024. (Doc. 58.) Plaintiff filed an opposition (Doc. 64) on January 27, 2025, and Defendants replied (Doc. 65) on January 29, 2025. II.
