15 CASE Respondent. 16 17 18 Petitioner is a federal prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with a petition for 19 writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2241. The parties having consented to the exercise 20 of magistrate judge jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(c)(1), the matter was reassigned to 21 the undersigned for all purposes, including entry of final judgment. (Docs. 6, 8, 9.) 22 On July 24, 2024, Petitioner filed a petition for writ of habeas corpus. (Doc. 1.) On 23 January 22, 2025, Respondent filed a motion to dismiss and response to the petition.
