17 18 Michael Gaddy is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with a petition 19 for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. This matter was referred to a United 20 States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. 21 I. PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND 22 On May 12, 2025, the assigned Magistrate Judge issued Findings and Recommendations 23 to dismiss the petition. (Doc. 5.) The Court served the Findings and Recommendations on 24 Petitioner and notified him that any objections were due within 21 days. (Doc. 5.) Objections 25 were not filed within the allotted time, and the Court adopted the Findings and Recommendations 26 and dismissed the case. (Doc. 7.) 27 …
