16 17 Petitioner Carlos Santana Aluizo (“Petitioner”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in 18 forma pauperis with a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Docs. 1, 2. 19 This matter was referred to a United States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 20 § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. 21 On May 7, 2025, the assigned magistrate judge issued an order to show cause why this 22 action should not be dismissed as time-barred under 28 U.S.C. § 2244(d)(1).
