ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE 14 ANNA RIVERA, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff is a state prisoner proceeding pro se with a civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. § 18 1983. Plaintiff filed the operative complaint on May 9, 2025, but did not request leave to proceed 19 in forma pauperis or pay the required filing fee of $350.00 plus the $55.00 administrative fee.1 20 On May 28, 2025, the undersigned ordered plaintiff to file an in forma pauperis affidavit or pay 21 the required fees within thirty (30) days. (ECF No. 4.) To date, plaintiff has done neither. 22 Plaintiff will be given a final chance to explain why the action should not be dismissed for 23 failure to either pay the filing fee or submit a completed application for leave to proceed in forma 24 pauperis.
