Brooks, a pretrial detainee currently released on her own 13 recognizance on pending state criminal charges in Alameda County Superior Court, has filed a pro 14 se petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2241 challenging the state criminal 15 proceedings against her.
