12 Plaintiff, a state prisoner proceeding pro se, filed a civil rights complaint under 42 U.S.C. 13 § 1983, seeking damages for alleged civil rights violations. Plaintiff has also filed a motion for 14 leave to proceed in forma pauperis (“IFP”) as well as motions for appointment of counsel. Dkts. 15 8, 9, 11. 16 For the reasons stated below, the Court orders Plaintiff to show cause why his motion for 17 leave to proceed IFP should not be denied, and this action should not be dismissed pursuant to 28 18 U.S.C. § 1915(g).
