Proceedings (In Chambers): Order Dismissing Action Without Prejudice
On August 28, 2025, Plaintiff, a prisoner, filed a Civil Rights Complaint and a Request to Proceed In Forma Pauperis (“IFP request”). [Dkts. 1-2]. Plaintiff alleged violations of his civil rights while he was incarcerated at the Indio County Jail in 2009. [Dkt. 1 at 2-3, 5].
On September 16, 2025, the Court postponed a ruling on the IFP request and ordered Plaintiff to provide more information within 30 days. [Dkt. 4]. The Court ordered Plaintiff to file a prison account statement with an authorization to disburse funds from his account or, in the alternative, pay the filing fee. Id.
