17 18 Plaintiff Jon Paul Mata (“Plaintiff”) seeks judicial review of a final decision of the 19 Commissioner of Social Security (“Commissioner” or “Defendant”) denying his application for 20 disability benefits under the Social Security Act. (Doc. 1). The matter is currently before the Court 21 on the parties’ briefs, which were submitted without oral argument. (Docs. 12, 15). Upon review 22 of the Administrative Record (“AR”) and the parties’ briefs, the Court finds and rules as follows.1 23 I. BACKGROUND 24 A.
