(Docs. 64, 68, 69) 16 17 Pending before the Court1 is the motion of Defendants Kern County Hospital Authority 18 (“KCHA”), Jaspreet Singh, and Leona Martin-Morales (collectively, the “Hospital Defendants”) to 19 dismiss all state law claims against them asserted in the operative, consolidated amended complaint. 20 (Doc. 51). On August 11, 2025, Plaintiffs Dianna Scott; Keaton Edward Monroe; the Estate of 21 Stephen Ingle, by and through successor in interest C.R.I.; and C.R.I., a minor, by and through 22 guardian ad litem Elizabeth Leal (collectively, “Plaintiffs”) filed an opposition to the motion to 23 dismiss, and on August 21, 2025, Hospital Defendants filed a reply.
