16 17 Currently before the Court is Defendant’s motion to disqualify Downtown L.A. Law Group 18 (“DTLA Law”) as counsel for Plaintiff. (ECF No. 6.) Having considered the motion, opposition 19 and reply papers, the declarations and exhibits attached thereto, and arguments presented at the 20 October 8, 2025 hearing, as well as the Court’s file, the Court issues the following order. 21 I. 22 BACKGROUND 23 On August 27, 2024, Plaintiff filed a complaint against Defendant Costco Wholesale 24 Corporation (“Defendant” or “Costco”) in the Superior Court of California alleging premises 25 liability and negligence when he was injured on Defendant’s premises.
