16 Currently before the Court is Defendant’s motion to disqualify Downtown L.A. Law Group (“DTLA Law”) as counsel for Plaintiff. (ECF No. 6.) Having considered the motion, opposition and reply papers, the declarations and exhibits attached thereto, and arguments presented at the October 8, 2025 hearing, as well as the Court’s file, the Court issues the following order. I. BACKGROUND On August 27, 2024, Plaintiff filed a complaint against Defendant Costco Wholesale Corporation (“Defendant” or “Costco”) in the Superior Court of California alleging premises liability and negligence when he was injured on Defendant’s premises.
