14 DEPUTY SMITH, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 I. INTRODUCTION 18 Plaintiff is a former county prisoner, proceeding without counsel, with a civil rights action 19 pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. On February 14, 2025, this Court issued findings and 20 recommendations addressing plaintiff’s second amended complaint. (ECF No. 9.) In the findings 21 and recommendations, this Court found that some of the claims raised in the second amended 22 complaint were not potentially colorable and recommended dismissal of these claims. (Id.) In 23 response to the findings and recommendations, plaintiff filed a motion for extension of time to 24 file objections, objections, a request for leave to file a third amended complaint and a third 25 amended complaint.
