18 19 Background 20 Plaintiff Gabriela Ortiz (“Plaintiff”) initiated this action with the filing of a complaint 21 against Defendant Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (“Defendant”) on February 14, 2025, in the Kern 22 County Superior Court, Case No. BCV-25-100572.
