17 This matter is before the court on plaintiff’s motion to remand this action to the Stanislaus County Superior Court. (Doc. No. 19.) The pending motion was taken under submission on the papers on June 6, 2025. (Doc No. 21.) For the reasons explained below, plaintiff’s motion to remand will be denied. BACKGROUND On July 24, 2024, plaintiff Margarita Ruiz, on behalf of herself and all other current and former non-exempt California employees of defendant, filed a complaint initiating this action in the Stanislaus County Superior Court against Conagra Foods Packaged Foods, LLC (“defendant”) and unnamed defendants Does 1 through 100.
