17 18 Plaintiff Fred F. Orellana (“Plaintiff”) is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma 19 pauperis in this civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. This action proceeds against 20 Defendant Som for deliberate indifference to medical care in violation of the Eighth Amendment 21 for the lack of care provided after the fall. 22 On September 16, 2025, the Court issued an order directing service on Defendant Som 23 under the Court’s E-Service pilot program for civil rights cases for the Eastern District of 24 California.
