The action was 18 accordingly referred to the undersigned for pretrial matters by Eastern District of California 19 (“Local Rule”) 302(c)(21). On August 12, 2025, plaintiff filed a petition for writ of mandamus, 20 but did not physically sign the petition. On August 27, 2025, the Court issued a minute order 21 instructing plaintiff to file a physically signed copy of the petition by September 10, 2025. (ECF 22 No. 4.) On October 10, 2025, the Court issued an order to show cause within fourteen (14) days 23 why this case should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute. (ECF No. 5.)
