ORDER 14 COVELLO, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff is a state inmate who filed this pro se civil rights action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 18 § 1983 (Civil Rights Act of 1964), and 42 U.S.C. § 12132 (the Americans with Disabilities Act 19 (“ADA”)). Pending before the court is plaintiff’s complaint, motion for an extension of time to 20 file a late application to proceed in forma pauperis, and a motion to proceed in forma pauperis. 21 ECF Nos. 1, 7, 8. 22 I. Motions to Proceed In Forma Pauperis and for an Extension of Time 23 Because plaintiff initially failed to pay the filing fee or submit an application to proceed in 24 forma pauperis with his civil rights complaint, the court ordered him to do so within thirty days. 25 ECF No. 4.
