12 Defendants. 13 14 Plaintiff Stefan Michalopoulos, proceeding pro se, initiated this action with the filing of a 15 complaint against Defendants the United States of America and Federal Bureau of Investigation 16 (“FBI”). Upon consent of the parties, the matter was reassigned to a United States magistrate judge 17 for all purposes pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(c)(1). (Doc. 20). 18 On October 14, 2025, the Court issued an order granting Defendants motion to dismiss, 19 denying Plaintiff’s motion for default judgment, dismissing the United States of America and the 20 FBI from the action as immune and improper defendants under the Federal Tort Claims Act, 21 dismissing Plaintiff’s complaint, and granting Plaintiff leave to amend his complaint.
