Id. at 3. His conviction was affirmed by the state appellate court in November 2016 and the California Supreme Court denied his petition for review in March 2017. Id. He filed this petition on June 8, 2018. Alongside this petition, petitioner filed a state habeas petition in the Colusa County Superior Court on June 4, 2018. That petition was denied, after two evidentiary hearings, on August 19, 2022. ECF No. 50 at 9-10.
