14 COUNTY OF SACRAMENTO, et al., 15 Defendants. 16 17 Plaintiff, proceeding without counsel, commenced this action in the Sacramento County 18 Superior Court, alleging that defendants violated his civil rights and California law by failing to 19 provide him adequate medical care. ECF No 1 at 9-17. On September 15, 2025, defendants 20 removed the case to this court on the basis of federal question jurisdiction. ECF No. 1; see 28 21 U.S.C. §§ 1331, 1441(c). Shortly thereafter, plaintiff filed a motion for leave to amend his 22 complaint, seeking to remove all federal claims, together with a motion to remand. ECF Nos. 3 23 & 4. Defendants have filed a statement of non-opposition to both motions. ECF No. 8.
