16 This matter is before the court on defendant’s motion to compel arbitration, and plaintiff’s motion for leave to file her first amended complaint and remand this action to Stanislaus County Superior Court. (Doc. Nos. 6, 7.) The pending motions were taken under submission on the papers on June 23, 2025. (Doc. No. 12.) For the reasons explained below, the court will grant plaintiff’s motions to amend her complaint. The court intends to remand this case to the Stanislaus County Superior Court once plaintiff files her first amended complaint.
