We have jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2253 and we affirm. 3 * On November 24, 1982, a man accosted two women leaving a casino in Las Vegas. The man pushed the women to the ground and grabbed their purses. He then fled. 4 A few moments later, a police officer searching for the robber spotted a man who broke into a run and fled from sight.
