*123 Defendant Melissa Ho appeals a judgment convicting her of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and reckless driving with great bodily injury, and sentencing her to six years eight months in prison. On appeal, she contends the trial court (1) erred in admitting evidence that she had consumed drugs and alcohol the night before the accident and that she was taking prescription medications for her former heroin addiction ; (2) erred in admitting photographs of one of the victims after the accident; and (3) made numerous instructional errors. She also contends that her trial counsel rendered ineffective assistance by failing to object to hearsay testimony that friends tried to convince her not to drive the morning of the accident and that the prosecutor committed misconduct by appealing to the passion and prejudice of the jury. We find no error and therefore shall affirm the judgment.
