Paul Melville, Jr. v. David Shinn

I. Background

In 2013, a jury convicted Melville of two counts of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault. He was sentenced to 18 years in prison. In July 2014, the Arizona Court of Appeals affirmed Melville’s convictions on direct review.
