FACTS AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND

Mother has three children: J.A. (born in 2021) and his half siblings T.H. (born in 2008) and R.H. (born in 2009). T.H. and R.H. are not the subject of this appeal, and J.A.’s father is not a party to this appeal. 1. J.A.’s removal and the dependency petition DCFS most recently became involved with the family 2 in August 2021 when J.A.’s maternal half-sibling T.H. vandalized mother’s home and ran away. Mother, who was nine months pregnant with J.A., felt threatened by T.H., could not control him, and did not want him in the home. Police also had been called to the home that month in response to a domestic violence
