On approximately September 2, 2022, Plaintiff United Property Management Inc. (“Plaintiff”) filed a Complaint for Unlawful Detainer against Defendant Luther Leberry (“Defendant”) in Los Angeles Superior Court. On January 10, 2023, Defendant filed a Notice of Removal, alleging that this Court has jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. §§ 1331.
