17 Defendants. 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 Before the Court is the motion of Plaintiff Roberto Rivas to remand this case to state court1 and the motion of Defendants the County of Orange, Daniel Vergilio, Emilio Lopez, Connor Cardenas, Jaime Martinez, and Anthony Alvarez to dismiss Rivas’s Amended Complaint. The Court finds this matter appropriate for resolution without a hearing. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 78; L.R. 7-15.
