21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 I. INTRODUCTION On June 11, 2018, Eleanor De Leon and Alaa Abudawood (the De Leons) initiated an action in this Court in the Central District of California. Represented by counsel from the globally recognized firm, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, the De Leons sought to have their interest in the estate of late Sheikh Osama Ismail Abudawood bought out at fair market value by Ayman Abudawood, Anas Abuwood, and several named entities owned by the Abudawood family (“the Abudawoods”).
