16 I. INTRODUCTION On September 29, 2023, Plaintiff Maira Lopez initiated this action against Wells 19 Fargo Bank, N.A. (“Wells Fargo”) and Veronica Doe (collectively, “Defendants”) for 20 disability discrimination and wrongful termination in the Superior Court of California, 21 County of Los Angeles. (Notice of Removal (“NOR”) Ex. A (“Complaint” or 22 “Compl.”), ECF No. 1-1.) On October 31, 2023, Defendants removed this action 23 based on federal diversity jurisdiction pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a). (See generally 24 NOR.) Lopez now moves to remand. (Mot.
