(SS) Burdine v. Commissioner of Social Security

I. Introduction

19 Plaintiff LaToya Lashon Burdine (“Plaintiff”) seeks judicial review of the final decision 20 of the Commissioner of Social Security (“Commissioner” or “Defendant”) denying her 21 application for disability insurance benefits pursuant to Title II, and supplemental security income 22 pursuant to Title XVI of the Social Security Act. The matter is currently before the Court on the 23 parties’ briefs which were submitted without oral argument to the Honorable Gary S. Austin, 24 United States Magistrate Judge. See Docs. 15, 17 and 18. Having reviewed the record as a 25 whole, the Court finds that the ALJ’s decision is supported by substantial evidence and applicable 26 law. Accordingly, Plaintiff’s appeal is denied.
