No. 13) 17 Petitioner Jesus Ricardo Castaneda is a state prisoner proceeding pro se and in forma pauperis with a petition for writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The matter was referred to a United States Magistrate Judge pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(B) and Local Rule 302. On October 10, 2019, the court granted petitioner’s request for a stay of this case pending exhaustion of his claims in state court (Doc. No. 5), and on April 7, 2020, petitioner filed a motion to lift the stay (Doc. No. 10), which the court granted on May 7, 2020 (Doc. No. 11).
